Woodwind story revealed

With a few months to go to the premiere of the film, Fin Pictures has released the summary of the plot.

Director Fin Manjoo reveals the reason behind timing the information for May 2017.

“The previously released basic storyline was communicated even before we started editing the movie.

“Since we perfected the final cut about two weeks ago, we can now reflect on Woodwind as a whole, and it is time to reveal the detailed plot.”

The release of the plot hardly gives the game away. We only learn the premise from the 1st Act, as to why Bonifaz goes to India in the first place. Then in one sentence we have a summary of his journey through the film.

So, here’s the basic and detailed plot of Woodwind, as revealed by Fin Pictures on imdb.

Basic Plot

A South American composer travels to India to search for the truth behind a poetic vision, written to him by a female painter and his mysterious journey to discover the source of his music inspiration.

Story Summary

A South American composer tries to explain to his Swiss girlfriend that he received an email from a woman who poetically described his movements in the woods that same day. Searching for the truth, he has to travel across the world to meet this mysterious woman at one tree in the middle of an Indian jungle to understand the meaning of the vision. From the waters of one of the oldest living cities to the Himalaya mountains, he is haunted by her memories and learns to tune into his own voice in music, setting him on a path of self-discovery, artistic fulfillment and personal redemption from his relationships with the three women in his life.
